Q: How can I apply to the Colloquium, MOH, and LOP? (Still under construction)

 

Q: How do I apply for parking?
A: You will be asked at the beginning of each academic year if you want to apply for parking by e-mailing us on rso@aub.edu.lb. Due to limited spots, we will assign the spaces by an objective scoring system. The system is based on seniority, distance from hospital and number of duties per month.


Q: Can I help organize events with the RSO?
A: Yes, of course you can. The RSO welcomes any help that you may have to offer.

Q: What are hospital committees?
A: These committees are part of different departments which require resident staff representation. These representatives are expected to report to the RSO cabinet.

 

Q: How do I apply for hospital committees memberships?
A: You will be asked at the beginning of each academic year if you want to apply for membership. Selection is based on a first-come-first-served basis, unless the committee prefers certain specially. E.g. Infectious Control Committee prefers an Infectious Diseases fellow.

 

Q: Do I apply to a residency program at AUBMC through the RSO?
A: No. Please refer to the Graduate Medical Education (GME) website for info and applications.

 

Q: How can we join the Charles Hostler Center, and is there a special deal for the resident staff?
A: You can apply online over [here]. We get a special deal (about $16 per month).
