The event was sponsored by the Resident Staff Organization (RSO) on Thursday 13 April, 2006, at 6:00 pm in Issam Fares Hall and was under the patronage of MP Bahia Hariri. It was about the book signature of Dr. Ghinwa Dakdouki entitled "Malameh" and was attended by many friends, doctors, and her family members. Dr. Chadi Hayek presented the book and spoke on behalf of the RSO cabinet. Her cousin, Mr. Dakdouki, presented the speakers. Then, she concluded by reading some of her poems inspired by the political situation in Iraq.
