The AUB handball team won its only game in Rhodes against a third division team, Ilios. The AUBites dominated the court from the early start of the game, with two goals from AUBÕs Zohrab Sarkissian during the first minute of the match. The outstanding performance of the AUBites continued all through the goals as they maintained an advantage of ten goals over the Rhodes team. The game ended with a score of 34 goals for the AUB team and 20 for Ilios. After the game, the islanders invited the AUB team and their supporters to a reception where the Greek coach Mimis Doxakis told Outlook, ÒWe are surprised with the high coordination among the AUB team players. If it was a Greek team, it would have surely been in the second division.Ó
