Students protest Israeli massacres against Palestinians

In reaction to the incursions into Palestinian towns and refugee camps culminating in the massacre of forty Palestinians in less than 12 hours on Friday, the Palestinian Cultural Club, in coordination with the Movement of the Commoners, launched a protest march on the same day in solidarity with the Intifada. High school students from all over the country have been visiting our campus for the past two weeks in a university orientation program. They have been told that AUB is their gate of opportunities, through which they will enter a more abundant life. They have also been told that AUB serves primarily applicants from Lebanon, the Arab world, and other countries of the Middle East, and that AUB seeks to maintain geographic distribution in the region. But these future university students haven't been told that almost 50 percent of AUB graduates leave Lebanon because of the lack of opportunities in the country.
