Sodexho replaces Abella in Mary Dodge cafeteria



Sodexho, a company offering food and management services has replaced Abella cafeteria in Mary Dodge, with a three year renewable contract. Sodexho offers food and management services related to business and industry, health-seniors, education, prestige, remote-site management, river and harbor cruises. Sodexho, an international company, has only recently started to operate in Lebanon. Their first university catering project was in the American University of Technology (AUT) in Halat, followed by the AUB beach kiosk, early in the summer. ÒOur successful experience in the Beach Kiosk lead us to cater for the Mary Dodge Cafeteria,Ó said Rachid Njeim, the manager of the cafeteria. Njeim expressed his willingness to introduce Sodexho to the AUB community, which includes a variety of students from different backgrounds and countries. His main objective is to turn the Mary Dodge Cafeteria into a place where students come for entertainment. The rich menu contains a variety of plat-du-jour and sandwiches, with pieces ranging from LL 1500 to LL6000. The new management is willing to organize weekly events that will help dorm residents and all other students interact in a new original mood. It will also be offering a free delivery system. The new cafeteria operates seven days a week, from 7:00 am till 10 pm.
