- The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck faculty, staff and residents met in a celebratory ceremony to honor all staff
who contributed through their work and efforts for more than 30 years. The honored staff were: Majida Mhedily, Nora Jerenjian,
Samia El Masri, and Souzan Touma.
 
 
- Dr. Usama Hadi, Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology, published an outstanding richly illustrated surgical manual,
“Endoscopic and Sinonasal Dissection Manual for Endoscopic Surgery". This manual is a very
well designed guide for the students,
residents and advanced Otolaryngologic surgeons for both theoretical information and hands on sinus surgery . Because of its originality and usefulness, Storz Co. has sponsored the publishing of this useful manual and its distribution worldwide.
- Best Poster presentation at AUB Biomedical Research Day is won by members of the Orthodontics Division
