The Department of Radiation Oncology is happy to announce the completion of a major upgrade project of all radiation oncology systems. The upgrade included the installation of Siemens CT Simulator, Siemens ARTISTE Linear Accelerator with Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), a micromultileaf-based radiosurgery system, CT-based high-dose rate brachytherapy, new treatment planning systems, and information management systems.

The new systems will provide improved cancer-targeting, image-guided radiation therapy and state-of-the-art radiation therapy to our patients.
