Completed in 1874, AUB's Lee Observatory is one of the oldest observatory buildings in the Middle East and classified as "one of the world's greatest observatories" in the Guinness Book of Astronomy. Lee Observatory was formally transformed into the Arts and Sciences Conference Center in 1980.
