Spring 2009 Vol. VII, No. 3 Last Glance Water Wall, Charles W. Hostler Student Center The Charles Hostler Student Center has been commended by the AIA (American Institute of Architects) as one of the Top Ten Green Projects for 2009. The award recognizes projects as examples of sustainable architecture and green design solutions that protect and enhance the environment. The water walls, shown here, seawater cooling system, solar heating and grey water recycling are important components of the Hostler Center’s green identity.
