Time Flies

Our friendly giant is AUB trustee Alexander Geha, MD class of 1959. He’s currently professor and chief emeritus, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, at the School of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago. After completing his residency at AUBMC and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, he went on to develop his specialty in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. His research interests include total implantable artificial hearts, nerve stimulation of the heart and surgical treatment of atrial flutter/fibrillation.
