May 8th to 11th, 1997
Beirut, Lebanon

Dear Colleague,

The organizing Committee of the XXXIInd Middle East Medical Assembly (MEMA) has the pleasure to invite you to participate in the different activities of the Assembly to be held on May 8th to 11th 1997.

The MEMA is an international scientific meeting jointly organized by the Medical Chapter of AUB Alumni Association and the AUB Faculty of Medicine.

Topics at the frontier of modern technology are discussed by internationally renowned speakers from the four corners of the world with a rich participation by colleagues from the Middle East Region.

Continuing education is the main priority this year, and this is reflected in the intense exposure to the expert-speakers through symposia and satellite sessions. The Scientific Exhibit that takes place during the same period remains the largest and the most advanced in the region.

The setting is beautiful spring of Lebanon in the 130 year old AUB campus, one of the most colourful and attractive in the world, overlooking the blue Mediterranean Sea.

This is a first announcement. More detailed announcements as well as the final program will follow.

We sincerely look forward for your presence among us.
