AUB School of Nursing Centennial

The School of Nursing at AUB celebrates its centennial in 2005.
Founded on October 6, 1905, it was the first nursing school in the Middle East. It has graduated more than 3,000 students who currently occupy leadership positions in Lebanon and abroad, and who have excelled in practice, teaching, and research.
To celebrate its first centennial, the School of Nursing is planning a number of activities beginning with the presentation: "Health as a Bridge to Peace in the Middle East: Challenges and Responses" by Dr. Naeema Al Gasseer, on Friday January 28 (See below).
The celebrations will culminate in an international scientific conference in June 30 - July 2 under the theme:
"100 years of Nursing Education at AUB; Pioneering Achievements and Global Vision".
