University Health Services
The University Health Services team is very excited to announce their move to the newly renovated facility in "building 56" on the medical campus.

The new facility will offer modern style service to all its users, it will house all Family Medicine Clinics together: the Private clinics, Resident and students training clinics and the UHS.

The current Gulbenkian clinic will be closed Friday May 2 and Monday May 5 for moving purposes. Patients with appointments on those dates will be seen but no additional clients will be received.

We will resume normal functions on Tuesday May 6.

We truly hope this move will achieve better service to our community and we appreciate your support and patience during this transition.

AUB Annual Job Fair
AUB is holding its annual Job Fair on Campus on Thursday, May 8, from 12 noon until 7 pm and Friday, May 9, from 11 am until 6 pm. All registered students and AUB graduates are invited to attend, for job opportunities and summer internships. All are strongly advised to get copies of their resumes and cover letters. Many firms have recruited AUB graduates through their participation in previous Job Fairs and found it to be of significant value. The Job Fair provides graduating seniors and graduates with the opportunity to meet representatives of various potential employers and to discuss career endeavors.

AUB travels the world with new set of postcards  
The Office of Information and Public Relations recently issued a collection of AUB postcards, thus reviving an AUB tradition that was last documented in the 1960s. With the diversity of their content, the postcards bring to light the beauty of the University's campus and the richness of its tradition and serve as a powerful worldwide promotional tool for AUB.

The postcards are available in decks of ten. They include a recent photo of Fisk Hall, the inside of the AUB Archaeological Museum, Daniel Bliss at Main Gate, a view of the Nadim Khalaf Tennis Courts, the entrance to AUBMC, the Green Field with Charles Hostler Student Center in the back, a view of College Hall from Charles Hostler Student Center, and a view of Assembly Hall from Bliss Street.

Outdoors 2008  
The Outdoors Festival will be held on the AUB Campus on Saturday May 17 and Sunday May 18. This is an official annual non-political and non-sectarian AUB festival for clubs, societies and student representative committees. It is purely artistic, cultural, intellectual and provides entertainment for the AUB and the surrounding community. It is also a means for student organizations to fundraise.

AUB graduate Dina Azar (BA'95 English Language) was elected Miss Lebanon in the beauty pageant which was held on 22 August 1995 in the Dog River area, North of Beirut.
She was one of 22 contestant finalists who paraded successively in uniform evening dress, gowns, black swimsuits, and finally in individual dress of their own choice.
Former Miss Universe Georgina Rizk crowned the new beauty queen.
