Do You Know!
Outlook, the official student newspaper of AUB, first appeared on November 11, 1949. It began as a four-page black and white weekly, with circulation limited to the campus. At the time the publication was self-sponsored and relied heavily on advertising for support. Outlook's solid foundations began to weaken in the early 1970s, affected by the increasing political turbulence. Its issue of May 11, 1974 was followed by a 23-year long suspension.
It reappeared on May 6, 1997, in 24 pages, four of them in full color, and has been appearing regularly since then.
