Archives and Special Collections The Archives and Special Collections Department comprises a wide collection of archival materials related to AUB. Hence an essential part of its function is collecting from University Units: minutes, workshops, lectures, posters, brochures, photographs, etc. of various events.
You are kindly requested to provide the Archives Department with all the records, documents and items of archival nature that are related to our University.

OSB/Coca-Cola Essay Competition

In celebration of the establishment of the Coca-Cola Chair in Marketing at the Olayan School of Business (OSB), OSB and Coca-Cola invite AUB students to participate in an essay competition.
Essay Topic and Evaluation
"In what way can Coca-Cola, through the use of cause-related marketing and/or community partnerships, utilize the power of its brand to demonstrate its commitments to the Lebanese society?"
A joint committee consisting of AUB faculty members and Coca-Cola executives will critically evaluate the essays along the following criteria:
-Relevance, rigor and coverage
-Innovativeness and feasibility of ideas presented
-Clarity and support (theoretical/empirical/rational) for ideas presented
-Writing style, organization and flow
Accordingly, the best essays will be selected.
Prizes:
-1st Prize: $1000 Cash
-2nd Prize: $500 Cash
The winners will be publicly announced in an award reception which will be advertised in due time.

Do You Know?
The Art Center at AUB was launched on Thursday, December 7, 2000, at 6:00 pm in Lee Observatory Building, with an exhibition of a selection of the AUB collection of Art and Memorabilia.


Exhibition: From Marquand House to College Hall: A Gallery of AUB Presidents.
Photos and publications of AUB Presidents, spanning 140 years, are on display in this exhibition which started on Monday March 27 and will end on April 28, 2006. The exhibition is held in Jafet Library – Exhibition Gallery and is organized by the University Libraries Information Services Dept. in coordination with the Archives and Special Collections Dept.
