OUR SERVICES
Competency and Talent Management
Talent management is a collection of connected HR processes that delivers a simple fundamental benefit for any organization.
We work on creating and updating our competency dictionary based on the jobs that we have at AUBMC,
in addition to working on re-evaluating jobs from job analysis to job competency profiles to the job descriptions. Creating and maintaining career ladders and maps, by consulting with concerned departments, are also essential as they are key to the right training
and development plan that will be given to employees. Doing the job from A to Z gives us a more objective use for our performance plans and appraisals and increases employee motivation and engagement in the workplace. Our aim is to be transparent in everything we do and to align our work with the mission and vision of AUBMC.
Recruitment
At HRDMC, we aim - through talent acquisition - to make AUBMC the employer of choice and employee champion. We have developed a transparent, well-defined, and objective recruitment process that focuses on attracting, hiring, and retaining talents by adopting the Competency Based Behavioral Interviews (CBBI) and practicing the "Equal Employer Opportunity". This is through practical, specific, and fact-based criteria that enhance our chance of fitting the right person in the right job at the right time. Our success measures show increase in our internal promotions, reduction of our turnover rate, and acquisition of talented externals.
If you have the talent and you are a change agent (accept, initiate, manage & lead change), if you care to have more than a job and have the chance to experience excellence, if your aim is to join a dynamic, well-structured, and fast-paced environment, click here and explore your chances of joining our AUBMC family.
Training and Development
We, at AUBMC, recognize that the patient is the ultimate focus of any healthcare organization, and that, as such, the staff development program offerings, in large, should be patient-centered. Promoting patient safety is an integral component of these offerings. In addition, patient and employee satisfaction plays a critical role in a patient/family-centered model of care. Staff development offerings are reflective of this belief.
The AUBMC HR vision is to maintain a motivating culture where individual careers and organizational goals are met simultaneously. As AUBMC moves ahead towards being a continuous learning organization, the HR staff development aims at creating a continuous learning and development environment.
The primary role of staff development attends to the following:
- providing long-term direction regarding learning needs for staff and how to pursue the attainment of this learning.
- instituting mechanisms and processes to promote and support continuous learning and improvement.
- managing the learning process to ensure it occurs by design rather than by chance.
Staff development thus serves to support the learning needs of employees by providing opportunities for the acquisition of new knowledge, skills, and behaviors in view of advancing technologies, changing healthcare delivery systems, expanding healthcare-related roles, and research. Staff development offerings are kept relevant to the organizational expectations and needs of patients, as well as to the learning needs and satisfaction of employees.
