New York Party           March 11, 2005

Fashion designer to the stars Reem Acra hosted the very first New York Brave Heart Fund event at her Chelsea loft on Friday March 11th, 2005.

150 New York movers and shakers attended the glamorous cocktail party, the aim of which was to spread awareness about Congenital Heart Disease and the needy children of Lebanon affected by it in urgent need of life-saving surgery.

Touched by the urgency of the situation, guests responded generously from the heart and donated a total of $133,000 to saving lives.

The Brave heart Fund New York Events Committee is constituted of the following members: Mrs Carole Marchi, Mrs Sara Khalifa, Mrs Aghnie Abi Rafeh, Dr Bassem El Masri, Mrs Isabelle Geday, Mrs Mona Husami, Mrs Lara Kairouz, Dr Christian Rizk and Ms Rima Zaitoon.
