Fundraising Event in Jeddah           March 15, 2006

On Wednesday March 15th, 2006 the Brave Heart Fund collaborated with leading Lebanese Fashion designer Rabih Kayrouz and held a fundraising fashion show at the Lebanese Consul General HE Mr Ghassan Moallem’s residence in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The event was very generously organized and hosted by Mrs Louma Moallem and marked the launch of the Maison Rabih Kayrouz 2006 Spring-Summer collection. A professional catwalk was especially built in the garden and pool area to accommodate the event. Over 150 Lebanese and Saudi ladies attended the show and cheered on as the models came out wearing the stunning creations of designer Rabih Kayrouz. One particularly lucky lady won a beautiful evening gown worth over $10,000 donated by the designer.

The event raised a total of $60,000 for needy children with Congenital Heart Disease from sponsors, ticket and raffle sales and donations. The entire event was covered by Heya TV who also interviewed our host Mrs. Louma Moallem, designer Rabih Kayrouz, and BHF co-founder Mrs. Joumana Atallah at the cocktail which took place after the show.
