BLOM Beirut Marathon 09           

Why run?
To be part of this special effort to raise awareness and money for needy children with heart disease.

Is it fun?
Yes! You can walk, run, skip or dance your way through any race you choose: each year we have BHF team members of all ages in all races, the 5, 10, and 42k.

How do I raise money for the cause?
Two simple ways:
1) As an individual: Tell your friends and family that you are running for charity, and ask them to make a contribution for your effort. Keep track of your donations by using our Runner’s Sponsorship Form. 2) As a group: Gather your co-workers, friends or family and raise money as a team. Please email rk78@aub.edu.lb for a copy of either form.

How much of the money I raise will go to the children that need it?
Every dollar you raise will go directly to hospitalization or surgeries for needy children on our waiting list. In addition, the Blom Beirut Marathon will donate 10% of your registration fee to our cause.

What will I get?
Brave Heart Fund supports you every step of the way with:
Brave Heart Fund 's famous red t-shirt ( complimentary ) , the loudest cheering squad along the route on race day to keep you motivated, a BHF goody bag and a recovery reception at our BHF tent where you are invited to a home-cooked breakfast with all BHF supporters.

What do I need to do next?
Register at the official Blom Beirut Marathon Website today! The deadline is November 15th. On the form where it asks if you are running for a charity, make sure to select “Brave Heart Fund”, so what we can contact you closer to the date to pick up your race bib and other items.

Anything else?
Most importantly, have fun! You are supporting a great cause and we are so grateful and proud to have you with us! You are our hero!!
