Tumor Clinic
Function Statement
The tumor clinic at AUBMC is a forum where cancer specialists from surgical, medical, radiation and gynecologic oncology present and discuss patients with complicated and/or unusual cancers in a true multidisciplinary environment. Six to eight re-registered cases from all types of tumors are presented in each weekly session with full and critical radiology and pathology reviews. Consensus decisions are sought in all cases; these decisions are only considered advisory to the treating physician.
