Service Excellence and Patient Centered Medical Home are important goals at the department of Family Medicine. In order to implement them in an appropriate and effective way, Quality improvement (QI) departmental committee is formed and a quality improvement plan is done. The QI committee is committed to acknowledge the areas for improvement, collecting and analyzing data, using unit specific quality indicators as well as the joint medical-nursing indicators, as they are listed in the DashBoard (hyperlink to the dashboard).

The QI committee members meet once per month or more, according to the need, to identify, implement actions, measure and discuss indicators in a PDCA perspective.
