Laboratory Screening
A phlebotomist will present to the executive’s suite, withdraw blood on site and collect urine and stool samples for analysis. Blood and urinalysis may reveal signs of anemia, diabetes, sub-clinical liver, kidney and other metabolic diseases. In addition, a lipid profile to assess cardiac and stroke risk factors is included. For males, testing may also include a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test for the early detection of prostate cancer. Stool analysis will help detect parasitic infestations and/or gastrointestinal bleeding resulting from tumors, ulcers, polyps, etc. The majority of lab tests results will generally be available by the end of your visit.
