Errata

In the article entitled "JTP and FHS Team Up for Public Health and Media Workshops" on page 15 of AUBulletin Today, April 2008 issue 6 volume 9, some information was presented inaccurately. Below is a correction of the latter: "Social Affairs Ministry expert Joumana Kadi also spoke of the need to educate the media and society at large about reproductive health during the second workshop. Both workshops, March 3-5 and March 12-14, were conducted by the Journalism Training Program in cooperation with AUB's Faculty of Health Sciences."

In an article on Professor Irfan Shahid's November 2007 lecture, "The Arabs in Late Antiquity," Vol. 9, No. 3, p. 14, the quotation in paragraph three should have been attributed to Sir Hamilton Gibb as follows: "Humanity speaking, Mohammed succeeded because he was a Meccan." Professor Shahid was elaborating on new material on Mohammad written by Abbas M. al-Aqqad in his book, Abqariyyat Muhammad.
