Beauty Is Our Inner Mirror

Sana Dimashkieh

Few people classify inner beauty as important, said beautician Sana Dimashkieh. She believes it is the one form of beauty that neither surgery nor financial status can better.

In front of an audience of members of the Women's League at Bathish Auditorium on April 7, Dimashkieh said that in order to experience one's own beauty one has to come to terms with one's flaws. "Don't let society tell you who you are," she said. "Be comfortable in your own skin."

Failing to realize that failure breeds success is one of the reasons why we give up on ourselves, according to Dimashkieh. Your inner state is reflected in your skin, for it is the only indicator of inner well-being. "Taking care of oneself and going about with a positive attitude," she said, "will have a great impact on your outer appearance."

Feeling good about oneself will also affect the people around you, she added. "This will also allow you to work better and achieve better results, since it elevates your spirit."
