Proposal and Budget Preparation Workshop

In line with its mission to support and encourage faculty members in soliciting research funding, the Office of Grants and Contracts organized a proposal and budget preparation workshop on February 15.

The workshop, presented by Associate Director Rosie Nasser, was attended by seventy participants, including professors from different faculties as well as graduate and research assistants. The workshop featured four sessions on the steps for increasing chances of writing winning proposals, the main components of writing a comprehensive research proposal, the elements of budgeting, and the proposal review process of funding agencies.

The Office of Grants and Contracts plans to organize future workshops to encourage faculty in applying for research funding from external sponsors.
