Kibbi Joins ILDS Directors

Dr. Abdul-Ghani Kibbi

Dr. Abdul-Ghani Kibbi, chairman of the Department of Dermatology, has been elected to the board of directors of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS). The election took place during the 21st World Congress that was held recently in Buenos Aires. Dr. Kibbi received tremendous support from the delegates of more than one hundred countries and will become the first Arab on the board since the ILDS was formed in Paris in 1889. We all look forward to the able representation by Dr. Kibbi of Lebanon and AUB in this international arena for the next eight years in close cooperation with WHO to advance professional, clinical, and academic issues in the field of dermatology.
