AUB Music Club Sells Out

Excited fans swarmed Bathish Auditorium on October 31, as the much anticipated
Autumn Leaves concert was about to begin. The AUB Music Club had spent
weeks putting the project together, and by show-night, the concert was
sold out.
With five bands scheduled to perform, AUB talent was ready to show off.
For an exuberant three hours, the bands performed an average of three
songs each, some of which were original works. Taking full advantage of
the responsive audience, they performed from a selection of music styles,
from old school rock to contemporary adaptations of Arabian rhythms, including
some instrumental jazz pieces composed for drums, piano, bass, and saxophone.
The stage was impressively decorated with a massive 3D cardboard tree
assemblage, and the lighting scheme maintained a cool, rock-esque atmosphere.
The masters of ceremony, an ironic yet comical duo, kept the audience
entertained and laughing, improvising their moments on stage as they hyped
up the fans and prepared them for the next performance.
On all counts, the concert was a success. The Music Club pulled in a full
house, a raving audience, brilliant performers, and an overall great set-up
to embrace the coming winter.
