Eleanor Aboussouan

Benefits analyst at the AUB Medical Center Eleanor Aboussouan, who manages AUB's hospitalization insurance plan (HIP), took up drawing as a hobby and finds joy in being a cartoonist whenever she wants to break away from the stress of her job. She says she got used to facing many distressing situations, explaining: "I come across many patients during the day, and in the end, I had to learn how to live with helping them cope with the pain they often have to endure. This is why I chose to be a painter and a cartoonist, as an outlet for myself. "

Aboussouan received her MA in public health with a specialty in health services administration from AUB and joined the medical center staff in 1994. Her development as a cartoonist led recently to an exhibition on comic posters held for three days (full story).
