Riemer Brouwer appointed new IT Audit Manager

Riemer Brouwer

Riemer Brouwer was appointed IT Audit Manager in the Internal Audit Office, effective August 1, 2007.

Brouwer holds an MBA from the University of Amsterdam and is a certified public EDP auditor. He is also a certified information security manager and a certified information systems auditor.

With twelve years of experience in IT auditing, the last six with Deloitte Lebanon, where he was responsible for IT security services in the Middle East, Brouwer brings to AUB a wealth of experience in the field of information systems auditing, which will assist the University in developing and strengthening its internal processes and controls.

Brouwer now joins his wife Brigitte Khoury of the AUB Medical Center.
