Red Cross Club Celebrates its 26th Anniversary at AUB

The Lebanese Red Cross Club at AUB held a reception in May to celebrate its 26th anniversary. The event, held at West Hall, was organized with the support of the Office of Student Affairs.

The program included a ceremony to honor the most dedicated members of the Lebanese Red Cross at AUB, after which a film about the Red Cross and its activities was shown.

The Lebanese Red Cross Club at AUB, which was established in 1980, is considered one of the most active clubs in terms of the volume of its volunteer work. In addition to running the Blood Donation Information Center, conducting health and disease awareness campaigns, and helping children and the elderly, the club this year contributed to the establishment of a room for visually-challenged students at AUB.
