Letter to the Editor

Web Site for AUB Invited Lectures

This message is a call to establish a new AUB web page that would include information given on any lecture hosted at AUB. I feel it is very important that this site includes both "a brief summary" of the invited lectures, and information on them. It would be great if the site can also provide contact information for the lecturer.

I believe many faculty members and students have missed some of the lectures because they overlapped with their regular lecture times. For example, I was interested in the lecture of Noam Chomsky on bio-linguistics and arrived twenty minutes late. Not only did I miss the first part of the lecture, I did not find any empty seats.

Dr. Ali Haidar, Lecturer
