Just before going to press AUBulletinToday received notice of the death of Elizabeth Scott, long-time resident of Lebanon and instructor for many years in the English Department’s Communication Skills Program. She was the wife of AUB philosophy professor Richard Scott, who died in April. The Scotts met and married in Lebanon and followed their careers at AUB. A full obituary of Mrs. Scott will appear in a subsequent issue of the newsletter.
