In an open debate held in West Hall on November 19, British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and Member of Parliament David Miliband engaged the AUB community in a one-hour discussion in which his government was accused of toeing the American foreign policy line and supporting repressive regimes in the region.
