New Chairperson in Engineering

Professor Salah Sadek

Professor Salah Sadek has been appointed as chairperson of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering for a three-year term, starting September 8, 2008.

He replaces Professor Isam Kaysi, who during the past two years has been serving the department with complete dedication and contributed much to strengthening the University's academic programs. Professor Kaysi will be on leave during the academic year 2008-09. His colleagues at the department look forward to his return and the continuation of his contributions, especially with the successful start of AUB's PhD programs.
