Philosophy Department

American University of Beirut 

I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After that I taught in the philosophy department at Rutgers University for three years, before starting at the American University of Beirut in September 2002.  I work in moral philosophy, from both historical and contemporary approaches.
