The American University of Beirut had the great good fortune to receive a gift from Trustee B. D. Eddie in 1972, in the form of a three-manual, mechanical action pipe organ, built in Assembly Hall by the prestigious organ-building firm, Marcussen & Søhn of Denmark.  Click here to read the article on its renovation in 2002.  The organ is used in campus concerts and ceremonies, and in recitals by renowned guest artists from around the world.
