The Bridge Contest

The purpose of this contest is to build a model of a bridge model to cross a river/valley and link a highway. The sturcture will have a clearance allowing a ship simulated by a box (50x50 cm cross section) to pass. The deck is supposed to be horizontal and straight through its length. A slight curvature or slope can be accommodated for aesthetic reasons as long as the path is smooth (5% maximum slope).
